The engagements that work best are ones where the situation is genuinely complex. I am not a large consulting firm. I work directly, with senior decision-makers, on the problems that matter.
1. New City and Urban Strategy Advisory

For: Greenfield city developers, sovereign wealth funds, national development authorities.
Covers: Governance and SEZ frameworks, land-use feasibility, asset bundling, technology and digital twin strategy, FDI attraction, operational readiness, Command and Control design, master plan commercial review, project rescue.
How: Begins with a structured health review (2 to 4 weeks). Then defined advisory engagement or retainer.
Relevant experience: Masdar City, NEOM Oxagon, Konza City (Kenya), Saemangeum (Korea), New Yangon City (Myanmar).
2. Board and Advisory Roles
For: Developers, technology companies, venture capital firms, multilateral organisations.
What I bring: The question the room is not asking. Direct experience of what goes wrong. Network spanning sovereign funds, city governments, MNC technology companies, engineering consultants, UN bodies.
Current positions: Advisory Board, Urbanetic (Singapore and SE Asia). Advisory Board, Innova Partners. Former: Azcende Venture Capital.
3. Speaking and Thought Leadership

Topics: How city and infrastructure projects actually fail. The gap between smart city vision and investable reality. Digital twins: what city leaders need to know. Airport cities. Lessons from 30 years across five continents.
